How many of you have heard people saying that wet and wild makeup was their first-ever makeup brand and it’s so good and so affordable and so worth and what not? I KNOW! (Like how Monica Geller would say). So today I’m gonna share my review of this gorgeous wet and wild contouring palette which might help you buy one.

Wet and wild is not my first brand I purchased honestly but i love it so freaking much that i possibly can make it my last (kidding but I absolutely love it tho 🙂
Without any further chattering, let’s just see what wet and wild has for us!

Wet and wild contouring palette – Dulce de leche
Shade and skin colours
Talking about the shades, Wet and wild Megaglo contouring palette comes in two amazing shades.
- Dulche De Luche
- Caramel Toffee

On right, caramel toffee
When i was buying this, no one told me in their review that what shade goes on what skin colour. But this won’t happen here.
Dulche de luche will go best on fair, pale skin to medium, dusky tones. The contour shade in here is more of a cooler brown that means it would just be perfect with someone who has cooler undertone but calm down, it will equally look good on people with warmer undertone.
Caramel Toffee is for people with darker skin tones than medium, dusky complexion. It has a warm brown colour for contouring and warmer highlighting colour. May not show up on dark chocolate skin colours tho. Will look beautiful on both cool and warm undertones.
Price
WnW contour sells for $5.99 or ₹499 which is very affordable for a good contouring palette. Although, i bought it just for $3.29 or ₹250 from Myntra (an indian store) which was a steal.

Product description
This is what the brand says, “This duo of perfectly complementary contouring powders delivers a flawlessly sculpted face in no time flat. The deeper color defines while the lighter color highlights your best features, leaving you at your #nofilter best, whatever the occasion.”
Packaging
Wet and wild contouring palette comes in a plastic lid type structure with a clear flap so you can see both the contour and highlight colours from outside. It is very light weight. Has large enough pans to last you a very long time.

Texture and lasting power
The best part about these powders are that they are matte, highly pigmented and buttery soft. They are finely milled and well pressed. They feel extremely satiny when touched.

But the major drawback is that when you swirl a brush, it shows a lot of kick back. Which is something, a lot of you may not like. But that doesn’t affect their pigmentation at all.

This wet and wild contour powder can last you a minimum of 10 hours very easily. ( I’m saying it on the basis that i applied it to a family function and if you know indian functions you know I’m being honest)

My experience
I absolutely love this contour palette. Even tho it has a lot of fall out but for the price and pigmentation it comes with, i cannot compare it to any other high end brand giving the same results.
Moreover, some people say it’s the exact dupe of benefit hoola bronzer which retails for three times the price of wet n wild contouring palette.
Considering all the amazing things it has, I don’t really like the highlighting shade in here. I tried it for baking does nothing but creases the under eyes even more. But works just fine for highlighting under the contour to make it sharper. But JUST FINE, not great!
Pros and cons
